Yellow Fever Centre
We are a registered Yellow Fever Centre and offer vaccinations for
patients and non-patients. A fee is payable for this service.
Over 75s Health Check
We recommend that patients over 75 are seen each year for a health check.
This can be done at the surgery if you are fit enough to attend or, alternatively, if you are housebound, we can
arrange a home visit.
Child Health Monitoring
Child health development checks are provided by all the doctors in
co-operation with the health visitors.
Immunisations
Child immunisation is carried out by your health visitor in conjunction
with your doctor. Holiday vaccinations and advice are available from the practice nurses. The annual flu vaccine campaign
starts at the beginning of October. These can be carried out in the surgery or for housebound patients a home visit can
be arranged.
Minor Surgery
We have the facilities to perform minor surgical procedures
under local anaesthetic. These include removal of moles, skin tags, warts etc. This should be discussed and
arranged with your doctor during a normal surgery consultation.
Cervical Smears
We strongly recommend that cervical smears are done every three years
between the ages of 25 to 50 and every five years between the ages of 50 and 65. Invitations are sent to patients or
appointments can be made by yourself if required. We strongly recommend that cervical smears are done every three years

Medical examinations can be provided for special purposes such
as fitness to drive, pre-employment, taxi, HGV, PSV, insurances etc. Please make a separate appointment for which the
appropriate fee will be payable.
